If you want to strip off all your unwanted bodyfat and get six-pack abs, then this article series will show you how to get ripped without starvation, marathon training sessions or losing your mind.
Let’s start at the beginning:
Why aren’t you ripped already? More specifically, why do you (you, me and the rest of us) have excess body fat?
This is the same question that troubled William Banting, a London carpenter/undertaker, way back in 1862.
Banting battled an on-going weight problem. He tried low-calorie (starvation) diets and hardcore exercises programs. Nothing worked.
Until a doctor put him on a reduced-carbohyrdate diet. In one year, Banting lost 46 pounds, 12 inches off his waist and actually improved his hearing.

The diet clearly worked and it started to gain steam overseas when an American doctor recommended one pound of meat and veggies daily for anyone who wanted to lose weight. The medical establishment shunned the reduced-carbohydrate diet despite the building evidence of real life successes.
(This is a common theme and something that you will see played out again and again both in the past and still to this day.)
Bantings reduced-carbohydrate diet worked as advertised over a century ago.
But why did this method work? And if the method worked so well 140 years ago, why is obesity still such a problem today?
